​Julie Warmels been singing with the Grand Rapids Caroling Company since 2008. Prior to this, she earned a Bachelor in Music Education and a Masters in Counseling Education. Julie served as a choral music educator for 6 years and currently is an Academic Advisor in Godfrey-Lee Public Schools. Previously, she performed with the group “Hey Marco”, has sung in the internationally known vocal jazz ensemble “Gold Company” at Western Michigan University and performed with “Shades of Blue” at Grand Rapids Community College. Julie has taken her turn at drumming, including performing with the folk music group “Lonesome Jane” and playing middle eastern hand drums with a belly-dancing troupe, “The Et Neemrah Dancers”. She also has been known to play piano in public and private settings, including local restaurants and events.
