Danae played her first lead in a musical at the age of seven in her church's Christmas production Hark, the Herald Angel.  Her love of performing grew as she experienced the joy of being on stage at a local community theater in The King and I and My Fair Lady.  In high school she played "Dorothy" in The Wizard of Oz, "Martha Cratchit" in A Christmas Carol, and "Dotty" in The Wiz of the West. During college she performed in The Boy Friend, played "Rose" in Meet Me In St Louis, and "Luisa" in The Fantasticks. On her second tour to Italy with the Cornerstone University Choral, Danae had the privilege of performing solo at the Sala dei Notari in the Palazzo dei Priori with the University of Perugia's Choir and Orchestra. Most recently she sang in the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus before taking a break to be home with her young children.  Danae holds a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance and Contemporary Christian Music from Cornerstone University. Danae joined the Grand Rapids Caroling Company in 2007. ​
